Scott, Neil, Brock and Ryan are all Utah-licensed and InterNACHI Certified Home Inspectors.
I started A1 Utah Home Inspector in 2012, after years in residential mortgage lending, home construction and cabinet building. As some of the most trusted and experienced home inspectors in Utah, Neil, Brock, Ryan and I have inspected more than 14,000 homes across the Wasatch Front.
Buying a home is probably the most expensive purchase you will ever make, and the cost of a home inspection is extremely small relative to the overall cost. This is no time to cut corners.
Whether you are buying a new property (single family home, condominium, townhouse, or multi-unit) and want to be sure of the property’s condition, you’re selling a property and want to eliminate possible problems that could delay or spoil a sale, or you just want a professional to inspect your home and advise you on the condition, maintenance and/or safety recommendations, we are here to help.
Sincerely,
A complete and thorough inspection done every time.
We visually evaluate more than 1,400 accessible components: roof, foundation, structure, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, attic, exterior, built-in appliances, and more.
Thermal imaging can help identify temperature patterns associated with moisture, missing insulation and certain electrical or HVAC problems that may not be readily visible.
Photographs attached to each finding, descriptions in plain language, significant items summarized with concerns worth talking through. All delivered within minutes after your inspection.
Radon, snow and ice exposure, attic ventilation, grading and drainage, foundation movement and aging sewer lines are common concerns due to Utah’s seasonal weather swings.
Every inspection is performed by an experienced, InterNACHI certified inspector who is licensed by the State of Utah.

If there is no answer, please leave a message and we will get back to you.
Every home has radon. The question is how much radon is in your home? To help you know the radon levels in your home, we have combined the 48-hour radon test with a home inspection and reduced the price so you can know your house is safe and ready for occupancy.
48 hours.
Just 24 hours!
2-3 working days.
Prior to 1978, all paint products contained lead. So if your home was built after 1978, or you have direct knowledge that the home has been repainted if it was built prior to 1978, a lead-based paint test may not be warranted.
Book online and $50 comes off. Your report lands almost immediately, and thermal imaging, pest inspection and a 48-hour radon test are already in the price.
